Describe the bug

  • I have SD card as primary storage.
  • I have already two backups.
  • I want to create a new backup.
  • When I do so, I get message Error: state flush failed.
  • Also still happens when I delete the older backup.
  • Power cycling the device, then it works (but I could not use Mgmt → Global → Reboot due to #343).

USB serial log:

[BACKUP_UI] tap-new x=24 y=193 local_y=147 state=4 selected=-1 slots=2 slot=""
[SAVE][UI] apply target=62 title="Backup name" len=22 value=71A3E1-08102026-110654
[BACKUP_OP] start op=create slot="71A3E1-08102026-110654" state=3 selected=-1
[UI_GUARDIAN] save deferred backend=local_sd retry=1 in=5s reason=slot write/verify failed
[BACKUP_OP] create cancelled: verified state flush failed

[BACKUP_LIST] total slots=2 dt=125ms

Which device are you using

LilyGO T-Deck Plus

Which Firmware are you using

v0.9.14

Further remarks

Could be that it happens after some map browsing (which sometimes fails to load tiles).

Regards!

  • #348 and #343 seem to be related (when one of it is happening, also the other one).
  • The map tile error part of #357 might be related -- actually, vieweing the map reliably triggers #348 and #343.
  • I don't know if #355 is related.
