<p>Chat uses <code>GET /api/packets?portnum=1</code>. There is no separate <code>/api/chat</code> endpoint.</p>
<p>Use <code>limit</code> and <code>since</code> for incremental polling. Direct port-1 text messages are returned as <code>&lt;redacted&gt;</code>.</p>
