This might just be a noob problem, but I'm on a fresh node-red install(v4.02) and trying to drop out a decrypt node and i'm getting this error. I was able to drop out a decode, and I am seeing traffic coming in from the mqtt in, just cant decrypt it yet. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong, don't have some other package installed, etc.

Same for me, I think the code needs an update.

The decrypt node comes from the @meshtastic/node-red-contrib-meshtastic palette module, not from this repo, so the type error is best reported there. This project is archived and no longer maintained, so I can't fix it here. Closing as not planned.
