Personally it would feel more natural to have this setting in Messages instead of UI

And once in a channel when clicking custom it would be nice to see which custom text is set before sending becuase often I forget what was set last.

....or even have a dropdown menu with multiple configurable custom options,

in v0.9.9 the definition of the custom message text ist moved to Mgmt / Messages - but actually i did not yet implement more than one message! more to come later.

finally implemented in v0.9.15

Quick send preview (#70): holding the Quick button shows the text instead of sending it.
