I hereby feature-wish that the colourings on the map reflect the type of the node, too.

Currently, the colour reflects hop count.

One could combine both -- have the outline not beeing black but reflecting hop count, and the fill colour reflecting the type of the node.
(Do we also want to have "last time heard"?)

Map tab: use each device marker border color for hop count while keeping the marker fill tied to the device type (#125).

Let me know what you mean where you wanna see the "last time heard?", in the Left bottom Black box? Or would it be already enough to jump into the Contact when you press the box as it is already implemented?

Let me know what you mean where you wanna see the "last time heard?",
in the Left bottom Black box? Or would it be already enough to jump
into the Contact when you press the box as it is already implemented?

Personally, I find "last time heard" (i.e. "how old is the node on the
map") more important than hop count, so having this somehow reflected
on the node itself would be nice.

But I fully understand and respect that you have other priorities and
design decisions and prefer hop count to be more prominent.

Then in the bottom left info box it would be helpful.

Speaking of colours, the dark purple is unreadable on black background - suggest you don't use it.
