OS: Windows Server 2016 version 1607 ZNC version: ZNC 1.8.2+cygwin1 CygWin version: 3.1.7
Every morning ZNC stalls, znc.exe is fluctuating between 10-14% of the CPUs capacity, normally it stays around 0%. It responds in the sense that the IRC client can tell there's something on the other end but it's like there's no bandwidth at all so you don't get as far as being able to connect to it or access the web-interface. The server itself continues to run normally.
If I restart ZNC it runs like normal until the next morning. It seems to freeze up at around 07:15 (GMT+1). Running ZNC with --debug or --foreground makes the issue disappear completely, no freezes or problems.
I believe it started happening sometime this year. The only changes made to the server are some Windows Updates and that I've been regularly updating the CygWin installation and its packages. The server and router has been restarted multiple times during this period. The router has had two firmware upgrades, but since ZNC is working in foreground mode I can't see this as being the cause.
Installed Windows Updates:
KB4593226
KB8900830
KB4535680
KB4598243
Any further assistance in debugging are most welcome. The issue is very perplexing and I'm not sure where to even begin.
