Unable to add networks #955

OS: Ubuntu 20.04
ZNC Version: 1.7.5-4, 1.8.1

Installed the packaged version via apt because compiling from source complained about not being able to find python3 even though it was installed.

After logging to the web interface and clicking "Add" under networks I am shown the following error:

No such user

I confirmed I am logged in as the user, and have admin.

I tried adding networks directly in the config and then editing them in the web interface. This gives the following error:

No such user or network

I am going to compile the latest version without python support.

EDIT: Can confirm on ZNC 1.8.1 compiled from source tarball the same problem. I erased my config and created a new one to test and the issue remains.

EDIT2: It appears to be related to the URIPrefix setting.

The following config allows me to configure networks:

<Listener listener0>
        AllowIRC = false
        AllowWeb = true
        IPv4 = true
        IPv6 = true
        Port = 8000
        SSL = false
</Listener>

This config does not allow me to configure networks:

<Listener listener0>
        AllowIRC = false
        AllowWeb = true
        IPv4 = true
        IPv6 = true
        Port = 8000
        SSL = false
        URIPrefix = /znc/
</Listener>

EDIT3: Figured out it was an nginx config error, and I got thrown off because everything worked except adding networks. Just in case anyone else runs into the same issue:

    location /znc/ {
        proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
        proxy_set_header  Host            $http_host;
        proxy_set_header  X-NginX-Proxy   true;
        proxy_set_header  X-Real-IP       $remote_addr;
        proxy_set_header  X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
        proxy_pass_header Set-Cookie;
        proxy_pass http://HOST:PORT/znc/;
    }
