I've been using ZNC for a while with Thunderbird 68, but after switching to TB 78 I ran into this bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1646049
TB now supports echo-message, but that doesn't go well with ZNC. Is there any way to configure ZNC to pretend not to support echo-message?
Sorry, I'm really a layman in the field, all I know is that if I remove this line:
https://searchfox.org/comm-central/rev/a8444d358c7abb921d81ee97d73b6f6ba26c7c8a/chat/protocols/irc/irc.jsm#2325
in the TB code, things return to normal.

Thanks for your help, but you didn't answer this question:
Is there any way to configure ZNC to pretend not to support echo-message? So I don't trigger the TB bug?

Thanks for considering it. Since "my" ZNC is running on some Debian system, it will be a while a new version would come into effect.

Not a ZNC bug. Bugzilla link has more details.

FYI, Thunderbird fixed the echo-message issue. (I'm sure you noticed since you're following the bug.)
