Is there any way to script the watch module to start only the user is either away or detached from a channel?

Already done via the watch_only_detached module.

Already done via the [watch_only_detached module](http://people.znc.in/~psychon/znc/modules/watch_only_detached.cpp). <!-- github-comment-id:3952768 -->

The watch_only_detach_module seems to be a fork of an older version of the watch module. It would be nice if this feature were a config option in the original module.

I was working on this some time ago but unfortunately my free time has become rather sparse recently. Hope to be able to start development again soon and maybe have a pull request ready in a month or so.

   // Only watch if no user is connected
   if (m_pUser->IsUserAttached())
     return;

This is the only logic-related difference. I'll see if I can wrap this in a setting and write a patch for master.

Should this issue be reopened? I would be interested in such setting.
My IRC client already handles highlights just fine, and would want ZNC to only handle them when I'm disconnected.
