I use this script to configure ZNC and as Debian Oldstable has ancient clang it starts by unsetting CC and CXX so gcc gets used.

Testing https://github.com/znc/znc/pull/1130 I at first forgot to unset CC and CXX which resulted to a lot of errors:

I think this is caused by clang not understanding C++11 and causing the issue that way and znc-buildmod could have noticed this.
