Currently there are two ways to communicate to modules:

  • /msg *module help
  • /znc *module help

However both are depedent on the prefix being * while it can be changed by the user. Could there be something like /zncm module help which wouldn't care about the prefix.

/zncm is shorter than /zncmodule which I mean and this would help with modules such as playback which require clients to send messages to the playback module. Currently all clients are hardcoding * as status prefix as far as I am aware.

It also wouldn't hurt with *watch dump or https://github.com/znc/znc/issues/1114.
