There should be a command in send the identify command to the server. It's not clear to everyone that the identify command is only requested by services after NickServ sends the message about nickname being registered. It would also help to see do the commads sent by *NickServ work.
There also seem to be commands for Ghost, Group, Recover and Release.
13:01:33 < *nickserv> | Ghost | nickname | GHOST disconnects an old user session, or somebody attempting to use your nickname without authorization. |
13:01:33 < *nickserv> | Group | nickname | |

They need to be removed. Alias module is more generic.

It seems that Alias can loaded as user module, so there can be more than one network so the variables should take that to mind.
Also if variables could be added freely, that would make identifying to #idlerpg easier than using perform in case idlebot net splits and it could also help with identifying to bots.

Do they really? The nickserv module takes care of providing the password when needed. Can alias do that?
Maybe if you specify the password in all of your different aliases.
Of course. But that's a step backward for usability.
I think so too.
Then probably add something like global variables to it, accessible to all aliases via some syntax.
