timezone stays in gmt #314

Changed the timezone to America/Vancouver and my buffer playback still shows time in GMT

znc.conf:

TimestampFormat = [%b %d / %I:%M %p]
Timezone = America/Vancouver

output:

<***> Buffer Playback...
<user> [Mar 28 / 06:15 AM] some text

6:15 AM was the time in GMT, not PDT like I want.

Also tried restarting znc, no change.

Changed the timezone to America/Vancouver and my buffer playback still shows time in GMT znc.conf: ``` TimestampFormat = [%b %d / %I:%M %p] Timezone = America/Vancouver ``` output: ``` <***> Buffer Playback... <user> [Mar 28 / 06:15 AM] some text ``` 6:15 AM was the time in GMT, not PDT like I want. In shell, what does env TZ=America/Vancouver date tell you? It should say current date in that timezone.

My shell timezone is set to PST8PDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0, and resolves to the correc time. Could I use that instead?

Yes, you can use that.
Fix your server for America/Vancouver TZ to work... ZNC temporarily changes its TZ env value to whatever is set for user and asks OS to format timestamp.
