My route_replies module has just reported me this timeout :
<_route_replies> This module hit a timeout which is possibly a bug.
<_route_replies> To disable this message, do "/msg _route_replies silent yes"

<*route_replies> 481 (last)
I did send a /map command at 18:45:25, and I correctly received the result immediatly. The module reported the timeout at 18:46:25. I didn't send any other command between the two, and received nothing either.
Please tell me if you need any other information.

There was a known issue in an older version of InspIRCd which would cause this. Because it was sending the numeric 7 and not 007.

The server is a solidircd 3.4.8, with some custom patches (https://github.com/rezosup/solidircd). Solidircd was a fork of bahamut 1.8.4, but its development was abandoned some years ago. My network still use it because ... well, nobody wanted to change.
znc 1.0, compiled from the archive.

Indeed, it does not use the numeric 007, but 196 (RPL_MAP), 197 (RPL_MAPEND) and 198 (RPL_MAPMORE): https://github.com/rezosup/solidircd/blob/master/include/numeric.h#L30-L32
The *raw module confirms it:
```
<*raw> YOU -> [map]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 196 Alef_Burzmali :irc.domain1.org (150) (20%)]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 196 Alef_Burzmali :`-hub.domain2.org (0) (0%)]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 196 Alef_Burzmali : |-hub.domain3.org (0) (0%)]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 196 Alef_Burzmali : | `-irc.domain4.org (100) (15%)]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 196 Alef_Burzmali : `-irc.domain5.org (200) (30%)]
<*raw> IRC -> [:irc.domain1.org 197 Alef_Burzmali :End of /MAP]
It's quite certain. Well, very few networks still use solidircd, so I don't think it is worth a fix :)
Thank you for your support. Now I know I can ignore this timeout.
Which version of ZNC? and what IRC server?
I cannot find any reference to the 196, 197 and 198 numerics. Looks like solidircd invented there own.
