I've upgraded libssl on my server, so I had to recompile ZNC, but gcc always used up all RAM and swap so I ended up going with clang.

Edit: gcc with modperl and modpython disabled (to prevent out of memory), no crash. clang with the same setup still crashes. http://ix.io/4rJ/

For me znc runs on 100% without doing anything when compiled with llvm-clang …
Works fine when compiled with gcc-c++

@DarthGandalf: http://dpaste.org/XIewN/raw/ after that the znc-process just hogs a thread and strace becomes quiet.
Works for whatever reason when compiled with ./configure --enable-debug though …

@Kondou-ger can you show strace and/or gdb stacktrace?

Works for whatever reason when compiled with
./configure --enable-debugthough …I think this is fixed as Travis builds successfully with clang and I have done so too with 1.6.0.
