I was trying to upgrade my znc to 1.0-rc1 and have a problem with loading cyrusauth module (I am authenticating users over my LDAP server). On znc 0.206, the saslauth module works fine, but after upgrading znc to 1.0-rc1 or git master branch, I am getting the following output after starting znc (the output is taken from code compiled from git master branch, output for 1.0-rc1 downloaded from the webpage is the same):
[ ok ] Checking for list of available modules...
[ ok ] Opening config [/etc/znc/configs/znc.conf]...
[ ** ] Config was saved from ZNC 1.0. It may or may not work with current ZNC 0.207
[ ok ] Loading global module [webadmin]... [/usr/local/lib/znc/webadmin.so][ !! ] Loading global module [cyrusauth]... [ Unable to open module [cyrusauth][/usr/local/lib/znc/cyrusauth.so: undefined symbol: sasl_dispose]][ ** ] Unrecoverable config error.
I have Debian squeeze and have configured znc with --enable-cyrus. I have also installed the following SASL packages:
ii libsasl2-2 2.1.23.dfsg1-7 Cyrus SASL - authentication abstraction library
ii libsasl2-dev 2.1.23.dfsg1-7 Cyrus SASL - development files for authentication abstraction library
ii libsasl2-modules 2.1.23.dfsg1-7 Cyrus SASL - pluggable authentication modules
ii sasl2-bin 2.1.23.dfsg1-7 Cyrus SASL - administration programs for SASL users database
