Hey, good morning, I was thinking about a feature I would love.
I could write my own plugin but decided to google first and see what exists.
I want to be able to specify content lengths for my frontmatter fields.
Basically I want to maintain a small settings in a dict.
{
Title: 60,
Description: 140,
}
Then when I write a title or description, if I go over the above char counts the additional characters get highlighted with a red background. For SEO purposes mostly.
Is this something you would consider adding?

Hi @Fasani, this would be a great enhancement to the plugin. The title check is already in place for some time only the check for the description is missing now.
Do you want to have it as a configurable setting?

Oh ok great, I didn't realize, will install now and check it out. I think as long as it fits best practices for SEO title and description for me that would be great no need for custom. Can always be extended later if requests come.

I have a few plugins which I can now replace by this plugin! Great work!
Works great, if you are interested I also use:
```
date: 2020-08-01T20:49:44.000Z
updated: 2020-08-12T20:49:44.000Z
```
Would it be possible to add `updated`?

Also why is the date not in quotes? On the above page, they have the inverse approach everything not quoted except the date. The plugin seems to do it the other way around.
But maybe these things are Hugo specific. BTW I have no opinion here as I do not know much about frontmatter, just general questions :-)

`updated` should probably be `lastmod`;

in my config so I would expect the date to be quoted but my experience was that it is not quoted when inserting it.
FYI, I do not have:
```
{
"frontMatter.taxonomy.noPropertyValueQuotes": ["date"]
}
```
in my config so I would expect the date to be quoted but my experience was that it is not quoted when inserting it.

@Fasani why, no idea actually. I had issues in the past with Hugo and dates. When they were with quotes, I had some formatting issues. Found an article back then where someone proposed to use it without. That is why it got implemented. If you do not experience any issues with it. I would just ignore it ☺️.
PRs are always welcome.

The description check has now been implemented in version
1.3.0. Feel free to test it out.
