Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I sometimes invent a new tag and then immediately realize there are 10 old posts that should have that tag.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd love to be able to assign tags from the dashboard, using the three-dot menu next to the post name. Even more, I'd love to be able to bulk-assign tags (using a Search - Select - Assign to Selected workflow, or something similar).

Describe alternatives you've considered
At the moment, I do my search, then open all where I want the tag, then use the FM panel to assign the tags one by one.

Additional context
This method would work for bulk-assigning categories or other taxonomies, too. Personally I'd also like to change dates from the dashboard, as well. (Future posts I tend to write with no particular date in mind; then I schedule them a week or so prior. Doing that from a dashboard would be easier than open-change-close.)

Shouldn't the VS code feature Edit in file be able to handle that already?

Or a simple custom script?
After all, Front Matter is a YAML structure.

I suppose. There are a lot of things in this world to write custom scripts for, though... I think this particular use case calls for a GUI.
