I have set up the pyMC_repeater with a RAK6421+RAK13302 1W module using the appropriate option on setup, and tried many TX power options, but it is not broadcasting at the full 1W power.
setup: RPi 4+ 1GB, RAK 6421 + RAK 13302 1W module and external power adapter - jumpers set to EXT, bench power supply - 5.14V 2.5A, an SMA antenna from my lilygo t-beam and alternatively an Alpha915 N-type, 128GB mmicroSD card with the current raspian OS installed, and the latest stable build of pyMC_repeater - R:v1.0.10-dev3
I am using a bench power supply set to 5.14V and 2.5A current limit, connected to the 13302 module with the included external cable, and the jumper is set to external power. It is powering the Raspberry Pi 4+ and the hat, through the hat only. (If I connect a USB-C power supply to it as well, the external supply drops to 0mA used)
I have used a couple of antennas with the same result (an alpha915 n-type, and one that came with my t-beam)
I am not sure if there is something needed in the pyMC code to get the 1W PA to engage, or if I have a faulty 13302.
I am looking at the current draw from the power supply - at idle it is ~290mA, at transmit, it is ~400mA. This is way too low for the 1W output it is supposed to be capable of. I would expect up to 1.5A extra or for it to peg out the power supply if the PA was engaging.
Has anyone tried the 6421+13032 combo? Is there something in the pyMC code that is needed?
Thank you,
Brett-

Hi this is my fault, the board def was update in main branch but the code required is in dev branch, if you switch branch this will work.

I am new to switching branches, how would I do that? Sorry for the noob
question.

thank you for the help.
I did this and am seeing the same power usage. It appears the PA is not engaging. I have it connected to a 5V 3A power supply directly to the 13320, and no power connected to the Pi.

You should be able to click the bell and then upgrade, then you will see the switch branch dropdown.
