It would be great to have a feature that allows for scheduled messages (up to 4 times a day) to be sent on the longest range defaults. This could inform users about an alternative channel or modem preset to switch to.
Use Cases:
In Arizona, we’ve started using Medium Fast, so a scheduled message on Long Fast could notify new users to switch.
At events like Def Con, an event network could broadcast a message letting people know where to migrate as they arrive.
This would improve network coordination and ensure new users are guided to the best settings.

It might be there today, this is a more hidden feature, the most flexibility is in Python and I haven't found an awesome way to change this to config.ini yet
Did you see the bottom lines in mesh_bot.py
ifscheduler_enabled:# Examples of using the scheduler, Times here are in 24hr format# https://schedule.readthedocs.io/en/stable/# Reminder Scheduler is enabled every Monday at noon send a log messageschedule.every().monday.at("12:00").do(lambda:logger.info("System: Scheduled Broadcast Reminder"))
I have been trying to think of a better way to set this up just haven't yet (any ideas 💡?)
