It would be cool if the "basic scheduler" in https://github.com/SpudGunMan/meshing-around/blob/main/modules/scheduler.py

Module had a new trap for a value of 'news' and it would use the file reader to return the 'readnews'

If it's better to switch back to using lambda function that's fine as well. Making sure the code is stable and secure overall is more important vs readability
