When the battery of my T-Deck is fully charged (blue led on the bottom right isn't on anymore) it will display 85%. Is there a way to calibrate this?

I think there are multiple cases describing a similar issue regarding battery charging and battery level:

I think the battery percentage is being calculated based on the voltage, which is reported to be above 4.2V when you plug the device into a charger. As soon as you unplug, the voltage will drop, causing the software to think you are no longer at 100%. There does not seem to be any calibration at the moment, but you can switch to reporting a voltage level instead of a percentage by tapping on the battery icon. That might give you a better idea of the actual charge of the battery.
The improvements I would suggest are:

  • Change the icon and reported battery percentage from green/100% when charging to something like a "charging" icon (and no percentage in the case that it's physically impossible to determine the battery charge level)
  • Allow a calibration setting to indicate what voltage corresponds to "100%"
  • For bonus points: automatically determine what a 100% charge means by taking the highest measured voltage when the battery is NOT being charged. This should eventually lead to a more true 100% than what is currently being used.

Fixed in v0.9.12.1

Mgmt → Light has a Battery 100% setting (device + WebUI) to set the "full" voltage (3500–4500mV, default 4200).

Seems it has been fixed -- can you close, @AmonRA, if it has?

Regards!
