When a channel is added without #, I get a “Channel added” message.
But when I add a channel with # (for example #plovdivbot), I get a “Channel already exists” message - even though the channel does get created.
Additionally, the first message received in that channel is always duplicated; all following messages arrive only once. This looks like an issue with channel creation. It might help to explicitly support adding hashtag channels.
