Is it possible to support emojis in repeater names and messages, or alternatively escape or filter out unsupported characters?
In my area, many repeaters use emojis in their names, and when these aren’t supported, strange or garbled symbols appear in the firmware. The same issue occurs in messages as well. If full emoji support is difficult, simply removing or sanitizing them would also be a good solution.

For reference only, this feature was mentioned in the release notes of v0.9.4:
Removed Emoji support (broken) need to be re-implemented properly later.

I saw it but unforunetly still see some strange symbols where emoji needs to be in the repeaters names.

I see ? for unsupported characters (firmware version 0.9.11), which seems a almost-clean solution to me (real "clean" solution would be to use a character not used for anything else for characters not present in the font).
I am wondering, though, when "Reply" functionality is used, or clipboard functionality, if the original unsupported unicode character(s) are retained, or simply a "?" is sent.
Regards!

emoji in names and messages now show as small colour pictures on the device (all 1,398 Unicode emoji plus 259 country flags built in), with an emoji page on the on-screen keyboard (T-Deck: Alt+E) and an emoji button in the WebUI.
## Implemented in v0.9.14
