over a month since the last offering Bernhard and wondered if mc term is still being developed. Be good to see the application back on peoples meshcore devices. Ps hope you and the family are well and life is treating you well

I saw @dabeani doing comments about fixes on issues more recently; last one I noticed was about two weeks ago (on 2026-06-24).

Yea guys, i am alive! Still try to improve the vibecoded stuff 😇. Due to the certain devices i want to be sure to keep it released for all of them.

I have already a very close to release v0.9.13 build. Actually i am on holiday and enjoy the sea, but when i am back you will get soonish the new version.

For sure not all bugs are fixed, and, i could until now not yet fix the bug which leads into loosing all contacts/channels. This one i really want to fix before releasing.

I learned from @dreirund that i should take more care about not publishing crap 😂 because of beeing too fast without testing. And, yea, some of the issues are only coming up after a certain runtime. So the repeases are now taking longer as before but, still i am developing it!

Thank you for taking care and for being interested, i apreciate this a lot!

The only thing I'm really itching for is to fix the BLE pairing. No matter what I do, I can not get it to actually apply the change once I confirm I want to reset BLE settings. It goes back to blue/paired but my phone has already been unpaired.

Give the new version a try and let me know if that solved your problem!

Got it flashed. BLE is still blue and I forget the steps to reset BLE - could you refresh my memory?

Thank you Bernhard for the new MC-Term v0.9.13 release! Appreciated.

I just flashed version v0.9.13. As I always do, I put the firmware .bin on the SD card and on "bmorcelli/Launcher" (current version: 2.7.2) I navigate on the SD card to the firmware file and install it.

This now installes a new firmware (in Launcher I have an installation of the old version and the new version), and the new version comes with default settings (primary disk: "Internal", while the old has primary disk: "SD Card").

I don't know if this is due to a Launcher update to 2.7.2. I did in the meantime that updating this way behaves differently.

Can you maybe look into it and

make the new one also use the configuration of the old one,
maybe find out how to overwrite the old one (updating), instead of creating a new installation?

On the other hand, when I do the same with wadamesh, I also get a second install, but that uses the configuration of the older version already present, so this part seems to be possible.

What I found out just by shortly using 0.9.13 and not changing any configuration (primary disk still "Internal"): The map tiles do not load from SD card.

moving away from mcterm now for a while to allow the software to develop a little. IMHO still very buggy with issues and not proactively updated, weeks and months between updates. I wanted to wish bernhard all the best with his future endeavours and hope that one day he gets this software to where it needs to be. This isnt meant to be a derogatory post rather one of celebration. good luck
