The display switches itself on???

Which device are you using?
SeeedStudio SenseCap Indicator D1L

Which firmware are you using?
Mc fw 15.0
custom fw 0.9.12.3
How to reproduce the error
Steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Go to “...”
  2. Click on “...”
  3. Scroll down to “...”
  4. The error is displayed

I am not familiar with this error and it has occurred for the first time this morning. I have recorded a video and am trying to upload it.

I only read the title "Time server problem", but the issue description is just the template text.

Usually it will be possible via the below mentioned "..Paste Drop..." left sided below the comment textbox.
At least then you can upload it via comments :).

I think GitHub does not support your container format.
Try MP4 or WebM as container format.

Also codecs need to be matched.

Trying to retrieve it on the command line using yt-dlp: Private video. Sign in if you've been granted access to this video.. On web browser, I keep getting a black placeholder:

Maybe you can either re-pack it to MP4 container (and maybe re-encode with H.264 or H.265 codec) | WebM-container with VP9 or AV1 codec, to upload it here, or upload just the file to some filedrop from where it can be downloaded, or somehow manage that it can be viewed/ retrieved without google login?

I’m giving up on converting iOS files. I wonder why GitHub can’t just convert the videos to their own format so that everyone’s happy? I’ve now tried using the MOVABI app, but unfortunately without success, as I couldn’t find the option to select the format when exporting or saving.

What does make the taps on the screen? You do not tap with your finger. Is this the issue you want to report?

When you use other firmwares, to you also get spurious taps? So can you know if it is not an hardware error?

yes this problem is only under Meschoreterm Works fine under meschtastic.

I could flash it back to Meshtastic over a free weekend and see what happens. I don’t know of any other firmware that works with the indicator and that I can test to rule out the problem?
