Describe the bug

I had in the "Contacts" tab a contact's details view open.

Then I switched to another tab.

In settings, I have "auto add new contacts" and "overwrite old".

When several hours later I came back to the "Contacts" tab, I only saw a big message "contact does not exist" (or so; I do not remember the exact phrasing), the page did not contain any other content (especially no "back" button).

I could return to the "Contacts" list only when I pressed on the screen at the location where the "Back" button in a contact's details was: Blindly guessing where to press because no "Back" button was visible.

Fixed (v0.9.12.2) HotFix

  • Contact missing detail view shows a visible Back button instead of a blank screen. Stale contact detail auto-closes when the contact was removed while you were on another tab.
