(This is an issue initially reported in "Collected issues for firmware version 0.9.11.", which I now split up into individual reports to be able to track them better.)

Describe the bug

Mgmt -> WiFi: When entering a password before entering an SSID, password in the overview is shown as "(not set)", although it is saved: When entering the SSID, the previously entered password appears as set.

Which device are you using

LilyGO T-Deck Plus

Which Firmware are you using

"MC-Term", version 0.9.11.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to Mgmt -> WiFi.
  2. Create a new WiFi profile.
  3. Enter a password before entering an SSID.
  4. Observe that the password still shows as "(not set)".

Expected behaviour

Show the set password.

Regards!

fixed/improved in v0.9.12

  • Mgmt/WiFi profiles now show saved password state before SSID is set
    • Entering a password before SSID no longer shows "(not set)" in the management overview; both on-device and browser views now show that a password is stored
