(This is an issue initially reported in "Collected issues for firmware version 0.9.11.", which I now split up into individual reports to be able to track them better.)

Describe the bug

Map:
If there are many contacts in an area, tapping on a repeater does open the popup with repeater name, time since last heard and distance only in zoom levels 1..10 and zoom levels 12..13.

Issue: In zoom level 11, and from zoom level 14 onwards that does not open.

Which device are you using

LilyGO T-Deck Plus

Which Firmware are you using

"MC-Term", version 0.9.11.

To Reproduce

Have map tiles downloaded with zoom levels up to 18.
Have a lot of contacts in a small area.
Open "Map" and scroll to an area with a lot of contacts (mostly repeaters) on the map.
Tap on a repeater.
If zoom level is 11 or 14+, repeater information in the lower left does not show.

Expected behaviour

Repeater information in the lower left does show regardless of zoom level.

Additional remarks

After I purged almost all contacts, it works with any zoom level.

fixed in v0.9.12

Map: repeater info popup did not open when tapping markers at higher zoom levels
- Marker tap detection now stays reliable across zoom levels, so repeater details open correctly

I still cannot do it in zoom levels 14 .. 18. (In 11 it works now.)

What I also observe, the big yellow tapping indicator does only appear unreliably in zoom levels 12 .. 18.

Like some computing bottleneck?
