Describe the bug

When setting the time, and a timezone ≠ UTC is set, in the input field UTC has to be entered but the overview shows time in the set timezone.

Which device are you using

LilyGO T-Deck Plus

Which Firmware are you using

v0.9.11

To Reproduce

  1. Go to Mgmt -> Date/Time,
  2. Set NTP TimeZone to CET-1,
  3. See that Date/Time is at 2026-03-23 15:12
  4. Tap Set right of Date/Time
  5. See that the time there is 14:12:32, one hour off of that what was displayed in the overview.

Expected behaviour

Entry of time is done in the set time zone, calculations done in the background without the user needed to think of it.

fixed in v0.9.12

  • GUI: Date/Time set dialog timezone mismatch
    • Management overview and "Set Time" editor now both use the configured timezone consistently instead of mixing local display with UTC-oriented edit semantics
    • Manual Date/Time entry is interpreted as local wall-clock time for the active timezone (including DST rules), so users can enter exactly what is shown in the overview
    • Set-Time input prefill now uses local timezone time to match the visible Date/Time row
