I hereby have a feature wish to show on the map instead of the squares the one byte ID prefix of the node, e.g. 1E. In tiny font, and with colourings as they are currently also coloured (solid background and a foreground that makes a good contrast to the background).

when you touch a square now it will jump directly into the Contacts detail page - would that be good?

when you touch a square now it will jump directly into the Contacts detail page - would that be good?

This "directly touch the 'square' → details screen" can also be too disrupting; and such touches can happen easily by accident.
Currently, when you touch the map square, the full name of the repeater is displayed, but the map overview is still there. I think keeping that feature in place, and when touching that name, then coming to the details screen, would be more robust user exerience.

My opinion only.

But by the way, you also have all nodes on the map appearing as green?
