Describe the bug

Since a screen tap or any key press switches on the display when it is switched off, the functionality "display off" is not really suitable to save power when carrying the device around:

  • A display tap is registered way too easy, making the display backlight going on again,
  • a random keypress also happens too easy.

Suggestion to improve:

  • Display on only on long press (i.e. 1s) of trackball on T-Deck,
  • or: Make the "screen lock" function activateable manually (e.g. by trackball double click) and when that function is on, a screen tap or keypress only very very shortly (like 2s) lights the display.
    (Screen lock only automatic is not a real solution since when the device is lying at home I do not want the lock. Also, in screen lock function, once switched on the display stays on, only turns darker after some timeout.)
