T-Deck doesn't auto add anything that adverts. Indicator does auto add.

Because there are no Contacts, msgs sent to TDeck fail.

No Sort/Filter options on Contacts page (TDeck and Ind)

Outstanding! UI looks great. Good job!!! BLE working. WiFi working.

Also love the same UI theme on both - Brilliant! Better than MC or Ripple.

about the sorting of Contacts there is already the following since v8 integrated;

  • Contacts tab button — short press cycles filters (A–Z → Last heard → Last msg) and shows a 5s statusbar overlay; long press jumps to top.
    give it a try and let me know if it works for you!

Yes tap Contacts Tab changes sort.

Suggest to add to User Guide Instructions.

sort vs filter:
Favorites would be a filter to only show those or place favorites at top of sort list with all other nodes as a sort
All other options (a-z, last heard, etc) are sorts not filters (change 'filter' to 'sort' top left)

I meant it more in the way that I'm (very much) willing to test a pre-release and report issues :) But I can also wait for the new release when it's ready!
