Hi @rich257,

Thanks again for your PR — I've merged your map changes (tooltips + own-position marker) also into the new layout branch.

I've been working on a significant layout redesign on feature/LayoutChange:
https://github.com/pe1hvh/meshcore-gui/tree/feature/LayoutChange

Could you take a look and let me know what you think? If it works for you, I'll merge it into main and move forward with this as the new default.

If you have concerns or suggestions, happy to discuss before merging.

I have stopped the service on the Pi and tried to run the branch from the command line yet the branch/command line won't connect to the device. Any ideas? Says not paired.

  1. which branch are you using now
  2. have you read the troubleshoot.md in the folder docs
  3. sometimes you have to reboot your meshcore device

v1.9.3 connects reliably as a service. feature/LayoutChange when run as a service or interactively will pair but won't connect.

I stop with 2 different branches.
Go further with feature/LayoutChange thatś now main.
I closed this issue, and reopen a issue special for the connect problems.
