The path list is a retry order, so the same route twice means retrying a route that has just failed while a genuinely different one waits. Both editors (contact info and My Repeaters) POST to the same endpoint, so the guard sits there: adding or editing a path onto a route the contact already has is refused with 409 duplicate_path, and the modal stays open. Paths are now normalized to lowercase on write and existing duplicates are collapsed on startup (keeping the primary copy), which lets a unique index back the check. The index is created in the migration rather than schema.sql, which runs before duplicates are removed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
