Channels in the sidebar and mobile dropdown now sort by most recent
message first, with favorited channels pinned above non-favorites.
Reordering is push-driven via the existing new_message socket event:
the affected item is moved to the top of its tier in the DOM, no full
re-render. Favorites are toggled via a star icon in Manage Channels
and persisted in read_status.is_favorite for cross-device sync.

'from app.main import db' gets None because python -m app.main loads the
module as __main__, creating a separate module instance from app.main.
Use current_app.db (Flask app context) instead — same pattern as api.py.

Replace file-based .read_status.json with DB-backed read_status table.
One-time migration imports existing data at startup. The read_status.py
module keeps the same public API so route handlers need no changes.

Add ability to mute notifications for individual channels via Manage
Channels modal (bell/bell-slash toggle button). Muted channels are
excluded from unread badge counts, browser notifications, and app icon
badge. Bell icon click now marks all channels as read in bulk.

Replace localStorage-based message read tracking with server-side storage
to enable unread badge synchronization across all devices and browsers.
Changes:
- Add read_status.py module for server-side read status management
- Add GET /api/read_status endpoint to fetch read status
- Add POST /api/read_status/mark_read endpoint to update read status
- Update app.js to load/save read status from server instead of localStorage
- Update dm.js to load/save DM read status from server instead of localStorage
- Read status stored in MC_CONFIG_DIR/.read_status.json for persistence

- Read status persists across browser sessions
