When loading a contact DM window on iPad OS (26.3.1) in Safari the message history “shakes / jitters” this does not happen on the channel view, and stops if I rotate the iPad to portrait.
Remote Terminal : 3.4.1
This happens wether I build the docker container locally from source or via pulling a prebuilt container.

So I was able to reproduce this on a Chrome browser on a desktop system as well. I was setting a forced path for a contact, then the rendering issues started. If I expand my browser window things went back to normal. It seems like if the "contact" header bar in the DM gets long enough it tries to break to a new line and causes chaos.

Awesome (well not awesome but you get what I mean) to hear about a desktop repro. I will fiddle with this and also try to repro and bugfix. We do some weird rendering on the (sometimes jam packed) contact status bar, so I'm not shocked there are some optimizations to be made.

If there is anything I can do to help debug etc...let me know. If you need to "see it" I can try and grab a short screen grab.

Haha I was gonna say yes, then decided to take a glance and immediately repro'd it by accident. Looks like the last heard/pathing area is snapping up and down from one line to two. Probably have a > + < instead of > + <= bug somewhere. I'll patch that up tomorrow.
