Hey guys. Just looking at the bot function of RT and asking if this is possible and if so if someone can give some guidance.

I want to create a bot that will announce when a new repeater is heard. This will mean that a new repeater contact has shown up that was not previously in the list. The message would be something like "A new repeater, [name of the first heard repeater], has joined the mesh!" . This would be sent to the #bot channel.

Be meaningfull of the consumption of airtime, do not push info to the MeshCore network that is not asked for.

  1. This is half-duplex not full-duplex.
  2. there can be regularitory concerns on the RF usage where you live, inform yourself first.

I am fully aware of all of this. What I am not aware of is what I asked about.
