We have the ability to resend a message to a channel, along with a timeout for which this ability is available. For direct messages, there is no ability to resend a message, other than cut/paste and resend.

Request is to reproduce the same functionality for channel messages to resend a message, and apply it to direct messages.

I've run this through Gemini / Antigravity (my preferred dev tool) and it seems straightforward.

Is this something that would be of benefit?
Am happy to have a go myself and contribute.
