Per-channel scopes work fine so far, thanks a lot for the quick implementation @jkingsman !!
But why do scopes only work when prefixed with # sign RemoteTerm?
I.e. a scope defined in Cottle's Android app as "myscope" needs to be entered as "#myscope" into RemoteTerm.
Quite confusing and not really necessary, isn't it?

We don't do any enforcement of format, so you're typing in exactly what is being hashed (heh -- in the cryptographic sense) by the radio to generate the bytes for region scoping. I guess in the core app it prepends a hash sign for you? I couldn't say.

Just convention, not actually part of the channel hash
seems to be the answer. I've improved the messaging (debatably) to clarify.

Okay looks like per https://buymeacoffee.com/ripplebiz/region-filtering this was explicit, then made silent/implicit, so I have followed suite in b157ee1. The code will now silently prepend a # to region scopes, but will not prepend in the case where there already is one (like you), so you'll be good to go either way.
