With remoteterm being my primary chat platform now, I find I'm missing the emoji's being built in. It would be really nice if we had an emoji selection button within the chat window. I'm not sure how hard this is so classify it as a 'nice to have'.

You're not the first to request this, and I also desperately do not want to be dragged into input management haha. What platform are you using that doesn't have an emoji picker? Even my *nix systems have that trivially installable.

Oh, didn't know that hotkey existed, as a bit of a power user myself I don't think that's at all known. Much better than CTRL + Shift + Alt +Windows + L...
Is there no way to force that via a browser button click? Is there an analog for mac users as well?

No browser trigger beyond right click -> emoji in Chrome. And yeah, mac users have cmd+alt+space, chromeos has search+shift+space, and linux has whatever keybind you bolt onto Emote, which is ctrl+alt+e by default iirc. GTK apps have their own picker and I can't remember how to trigger it; I use Emote.

Since I'm not the first to ask, I'm wondering if there's a way to tell
users about those simply in the interface? Up to you of course, I have my
answer, just thinking about the next guy.

I'm not sure there is an easy way, no; ultimately I don't think it's the right job of a radio client to be teaching folks how to do input management on their system. I've already given a bit of ground on the dynamic replacement, but I really really don't want to be managing an emoji picker lol.

I'm gonna close this as a wontfix, sorry -- input management is not the business I want to be in, and platforms handle it more compatibly than I care to (and care to maintain).

Primarily I'm using brave browser on a desktop (win). Alternate would be chrome or firefox.
Does
