I like adding all known channels so I can see all public traffic, but there are a lot of alert channels (power, earthquake, fire alerts) that I don't need to see notifications for in the sidebar. It would be great if I could mute channels so they wouldn't count towards the "unread" status of channels.
Thanks again for this!

Interesting, so you're talking about a kind of anti-favorite that doesn't contribute to top level unread counts and, what, doesn't show an unread counter? I tend to use my favorites to keep track of the channels I care about, and just leave the other 400 or so I'm in sit in the main channels section and frankly I basically never read them. Would that work for you?

Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe something changed or I'm just a dope. That's what I'm doing, and I guess that's just fine. I'll close this.

I got another request for this so added the feature. Hides unreads, turns off notifications, and doesn't increment the overall unread count for a section headers.
