I have noticed that when using the web upload form in the gallery front end
(Piwigo)/index.php?/add_photos
that it does not run synchronisation afterwards, so metadata like author, title keywords etc is not populated into the database.
If you upload with the admin interface
(piwigo)/admin.php?page=photos_add
Then it does synchronise.
Is this normal, and if so, is there a reason for it?
Thanks.
