Hi,

I have a problem with users mails, they received links to :

X new photos [url is http]
X albums updates [url http]

Go to gallery [url is https]

unsubscribe [url https]
subscribe [url https]

then in the details

1 new photo (recent) [url http]
(photo thumb) [url http]

and so on.

for some reason I can't expose the 80 port so my users have to know that they have to copy / paste url in mails to change http to https.

I have the same problem with the "forgot password" url in mail.

user"xxx" on gallery https://public_domain_name

to renew ... :
http://public_domain_name/xxxxxxx

send by "gallery_name" https://public_domain_name"

my configuration is a little bit complex :

  • piwigo on docker, mathieuruellan (2 dockers, piwigo + mysql 5.5)
  • piwigo docker port mapping is 9443:80
  • docker on synology DS916+
  • synology with HSTS
  • synology embeded nginx
  • certificate let's encrypt with multiple domain names
  • reverse proxy DSM rule : https://piwigo_public_domain_name:443 ==> http://local_address:9443
  • adding a rule to reverse piwigo on 80 to 443 bypass the https connection and the certificate
  • force https plugin cause too many redirection problem (loop)
  • port 80 & 443 used by synology internal, so I can't use it

https URLs in mail have been forced with the

$conf['gallery_url'] = https://public_domain_name

so the option updates only some url in the mail generation

piwigo environment :

  • Piwigo 2.9.4
  • Système d'exploitation: Linux (in real PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)" NAME="Debian GNU/Linux" VERSION_ID="9" VERSION="9 (stretch)")
  • PHP: 7.2.9-1+020180901081133.4+stretch1.gbpdaac35 (the image came with 7.0, update to latest version yesterday)
  • MySQL: 5.5.61 [2018-09-07 14:52:49]
  • Bibliothèque graphique: External ImageMagick 6.9.7-4

thanks
