There is a static call to Smarty_Internal_Debug::display_debug on template.class.php file, line 586.

It rises an error and it prevent showing smarty debug popup when logged in as admin.

Hi Miceno,
I had the same issue.
Try this as a workaround (backslash on Windows):

//Smarty_Internal_Debug::display_debug($this->smarty); $this->smarty->display(dirname(__FILE__) . "\smarty\libs\debug.tpl"); // should better use $debug_tpl or $SMARTY_DIR ?
