MySQL version 5.5.41-0+wheezy1

->   WHERE (date_available >= '2015-11-02')
->     AND (date_available <= '2015-11-02')

does not take rows where date_available is 2015-11-02 ! I'm pretty sure it was working fine with older version of MySQL.
