Currently, there is no easy way to hide the pictures number in the breadcrumb.
One solution reported in the documentation here http://fr.piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=plugins:compilation_de_plugins_personnels but it seems to be overkilling, as a simple CSS class on a <span> would allow anyone to apply his own style to this field.
Thanks for considering.

I would even say that we should have something like <span class="nbPhotos">10</span>, without the brackets []. We can add them with CSS (before/after).
