In practice, we upload pictures with certain tag in order to then apply permissions, or we want the sub-albums of a specific album to be all private/public, or we want that group to always be allowed/forbidden to see the sub-albums of a specific album...
That could be done with rules, like SmartAlbum : if Condition Then Action
Could be one more tab/page for Picture, Album, User, Group, or one new page with these 4 tabs.
there could be a problem with pictures added by synchro

More for Piwigo 3.0 or 2.7+, than 2.6 ^^
