With #2311 Piwigo waits for user_cache rebuild for a maximum of 10 seconds. We have a user report on https://fr.piwigo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=30704 of 9.5 seconds to rebuid the user_cache on a "worst case scenario" : 3 millions photos (huge), 800 albums (not that huge) and a very small CPU "Intel Xeon-D 1521 - 4c/8t - 2.4 GHz/2.7 GHz". On Piwigo.com I just extracted some stats and the longest user_cache rebuild time (after 15.4.0 update) is 3.517s on a gallery with 183624 photos and 2595 albums.
Instead of waiting 10 x 1 second, I propose to increase to 20 x 1 second. It won't change anything for most Piwigo galleries but could avoid a few "times out" for huge galleries running a low capacity CPU.
