I tried multiple things (reuploading via ftp a couple of times using both the release and the source, also restarted the server a couple of times but still no luck. As soon as i navigate to /upgrade.php i get the following message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_tables() (previously declared in /mnt/diskA/piwigo/upgrade.php:59) in /mnt/diskA/piwigo/upgrade.php on line 622

i tried to switch upgrade.php to the current one on the git, while this didn’t throw an error, the file still isn’t fully compatible with the other files in the stable 15.0 so it also failed.

Consider this closed, everything does work now. Yes, obviously upgrade.php has no line 622, so i initially thought that the version on github and the one in the release don’t match, coming from the piwigo server itself. Turns out it was just p7zip being weird on my server, as it extracted at least two files doubled so to say, and one of them was upgrade.php
Im not sure why as i had exactly the same version of it installed when unzipping 14.5 but this time it essentially just repeated upgrade.php making it exactly twice as large as it should be.
